Jorge Quintero has dedicated his life to music as a vocalist, sax player, venezuelan cuatro and guitar player, composer, arranger and teacher. He has participated in recordings and performances with major venezuelan artists such as Simon Diaz,  El Cuarteto, Ensemble Gurrufío, Cecilia Todd, Gualberto Ibarreto, Francisco Pacheco among many others.
For ten years, under the auspices of the Foundation Bigott, Jorge performed with Grupo Pasacalle with whom he toured Mexico, Colombia, Bolivia, Spain, France, England and Belgium.  In Miami, Jorge Quintero joined the vocal jazz quintet The Decotones and since 2008 he has performed at numerous events.
He has performed at the Adrienne Arsht Center, Miami Art Center, Aventura Theatre, Area Stage with Aquiles Báez, Negroni’s Trio, Hernán Gamboa, Saul Vera Ensemble and C4 Trio.
He is a highly versatile and sophisticated musician whose adventurous spirit also led him to experiment with acoustic jazz, venezuelan traditional music and Caribbean rythms. His musical works include choral music, chamber music, venezuelan traditional, vocal and instrumental music.

     

Jorge Quintero Music Project is the result of the interaction and coexistence of the Venezuelan rhythms, jazz and Latin music, is the sonorous expression of cultural dynamics in South Florida.
